This site is committed to the expression of the True Gospel of Jesus Christ.
For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
– I Corinthians 1:17
In short, the Cross of Christ is the New Covenant. The meaning of the New Covenant is the Cross of Christ. A Gospel that does not emphasize on the Cross of Christ is a False Doctorine. The Gospel that does emphasize on the Cross of Christ is the True Gospel of Jesus Christ.
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
– 1 Corinthians 1:18
But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
– 1 Corinthians 1:23
The meaning of the New Covenant–the Cross of Christ–was given to the Apostle Paul. Paul provided this to us throughout his 14 Epistles.
But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
– Galatians 1:11-12
What Paul called a “mystery” then is still very much a mystery now throughout the modern church as the cross is paid little if any mind.
For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles—
assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace that was given to me for you,
how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly.
When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ,
which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.
This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
– Ephesians 3:1-6
From the Lord to Paul; From the Paul to us; From the Lord to Jimmy Swaggart of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries; From Jimmy Swaggart to my teachers Richard Perez and Ruby Colbos to myself; it is my hope that this site will do its part in continuing to make meaning of the mystery to “whosoever will” (Rev. 22:17).
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
– I Corinthians 2:2
